We are looking for a Sr. Frontend Developer for our company Piku, a Web3-based, open-access ecosystem for seamless minting and redeeming of USP tokens, with a dashboard displaying on-chain data. A DAO governance page to propose, vote, or view the management of USP tokens.

What You'll Do

  • •Develop high-quality, scalable, and reliable features for the Piku Web Application using React and Next.js.
  • •Build responsive, performant, and SEO-friendly web interfaces leveraging Next.js capabilities (SSR, SSG, routing, and API routes where applicable).
  • •Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.
  • •Share knowledge and best practices with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • •Embrace transparency and open communication to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and technical decisions.
  • •Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following modern web standards and best practices.
  • •Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to improving code quality across the codebase.
  • •Contribute proactively to application architecture, performance optimization, and long-term maintainability.
  • •Use React Query (TanStack Query) and Zustand for efficient data fetching, caching, and state management.
  • •Integrate WebSocket or similar real-time technologies to handle live on-chain data and real-time updates.
  • •Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and workflows to deliver consistent value to users.

Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional experience with React in production web applications.
  • •Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • •Hands-on experience with Next.js and modern web development concepts (SSR, SSG, CSR, performance optimization).
  • •Experience with state management and data-fetching libraries such as Zustand and React Query.
  • •Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, component design, and scalable application patterns.
  • •Experience integrating APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data sources.
  • •Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
  • •Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • •Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative delivery.
  • •Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • •Experience writing unit tests and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress).
  • •Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle, including version control, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
  • •Fluent in English (Read, write, understand and communicate).
